He began his primary education in St John the Baptist Catholic School, Ngondzen in September 1991. Five years later, he was transferred to St Joseph Catholic School, Roh-Kimbo where he completed with a FSLC in June 1997. The doors of St Aloysius Minor Seminary (SAMS) Kitiwum were opened to him as one of the first year students in September 1997. He spent seven years in that institution and obtained his G.C.E O/L and A/L in 2002 and 2004 respectively. The following academic year, he went to St John Mary VianneySpiritual Formation Centre, Bafut for a propaedeutic year. After that year, he made a return to SAMS, where he was sent to assist as a Physics and Chemistry teacher for a year. Then he gained admission into St Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary (STAMS), Bambui. There, he studied Philosophy for three years, from September 2006 to June 2009, at the end of which he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. From September 2009 to July 2010, he was sent to the then St Joseph Quasi Parish, Ndzevru for a year of pastoral experience.He returned to STAMS the following year to continue formation to the Catholic priesthood.
At the end of the third year of Theological Studies, he was ordained Deacon on 29 June 2013 at St Theresia Cathedral, Kumbo by his Lordship, Mgr George Nkuo, Bishop of the diocese of Kumbo. His priestly ordination took place on 24 April 2014. He was ordained Priest in the same Cathedral Church in Kumbo by the same Bishop, Mgr George Nkuo. After ordination he served as parochial vicar in Assumption Parish Mbiame. While in Mbiame, he was chaplain to the young people of the parish and of Tatum deanery. He was equally a chaplain to St George Family Farm School which was located in Mumyu – Mbiame. After two years of service in Mbiame, he was transferred to St Joseph Parish Djottin. There too, he was curate, parish youth chaplain, deanery youth chaplain, and chaplain to St Thérèse Comprehensive High School Djottin.
Bishop George Nkuo sent him to Poland in 2018 to further his studies. In 2020, he obtained a Licentiate degree in Sacred Theology from Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He continued studies in that same university specialising in Spiritual Theology and obtained a doctorate in 2023. Upon completion of his studies he returned home in March 2023 and the Bishop asked him to serve as one of the assisting priests in the Cathedral parish. He served there for four months and some weeks. Then in June 2023, he was assigned as formator to St Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Bambui where he is currently a Spiritual Director.
Fr Kpudzeka is a passionate lover of the written word. His articles have appeared in some journals in Poland. He believes that one does not have to give up his identity as an African in order to be a Christian since being a Christian is not mutually exclusive to being an African. His interest is therefore in contributing to make African Christians to be authentically Christian while at the same time being truly African. He likewise has a taste for good music especially the Bamenda grass field traditional music which he enjoys listening to and dancing. His other hobbies include sight-seeing, listening to and participating in debates, story-telling and taking walks.
