He did his Primary Education in St. Peter’s Primary School, Kinsenjam (Nkar Parish). After that, he continued to Bishop Rogan College, Buea (1976 -1983) where he obtained the GCE Ordinary and Advanced Level Certificates. He began his formation as a Major Seminarian in Saint Thomas Aquinas’ Major Seminary, Bambui in September 1983. In the final year of his seminary formation (1992), he was ordained a Priest for the Diocese of Kumbo.
After four years in the Parish, he went to Accra where he studied in the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration for one year (1996/1997). The next year (1998), he went to Britain where he did a corresponding course on Proficient Bookkeeping in Cambridge Tutorial College.
He has been in the Priestly Ministry for 22 years serving in the following places: Assumption Parish, Mbiame as Parish priest (July 1992-June 1996); Bishop’s House, Kumbo as Finance Secretary (1997-2003); Saint Jude’s Parish, Mbve as Parish Priest (August 2003-2006); Bishop’s House, Kumbo as Finance Secretary (August 2008-June 2010); Christ the King Parish, Nkambe Town (July 2010-June 2014); and now in the Seminary.
